GEF Sanremo is a prestigious international event dedicated to creativity and artistic expression in the school and youth world.
From all over the world, schools, associations and young participants bring to Sanremo experiences, projects and artistic productions across the various disciplines, giving life to an event that is unique for its variety, international scale and educational value.
Music, dance, musical theatre, fashion, theatre and other forms of creativity find in GEF an extraordinary international showcase, in a setting that brings together performance, culture, education and exchange between groups from different countries.
Now in its 28th edition, GEF has built over the years its own identity and a recognised prestige, choosing as the home of its Sanremo International Finals one of the Italian cities best known worldwide for music and entertainment.

Not just the stage: growth and experience
The grand parade of all participants — GEF Sanremo and Sanremo Junior — through the centre of Sanremo: a moment of celebration that involves the whole city.
A special competition reserved for children who are hospital inpatients, to bring the creativity and emotion of the festival also to those who cannot be present on stage.

International competition for solo singers, with a single finalist per nation. The World Final, the opening night of GEF Sanremo 2027, will take place at the Teatro Ariston, with live performances accompanied by the Sanremo Junior Orchestra.
International competition dedicated to solo singers and singer-songwriters over 34. The final stages of the 11th edition will take place in Sanremo in autumn 2027.
